You obviously traded a decent profit between events.

2005-06-05 11:32:29 | I also received some dividends from the Met. Not only did I end up losing all of the dividends and all of my remaining cash (about £16) to the bank, I now owe the bank nearly £300.

If you still "owe money to the bank," as it were, then 90% of future income is diverted until the bank account is fully topped up.
At least, that's what's happened to me a few times.
Rules do seem to suggest that only 90% should be taken though.

2005-06-05 10:51:14 | I think there's something slightly wrong with the banking system. Yesterday I won some dividends from the Met, and the whole lot promptly disappeared into the bank, along with my remaining cash (which admittedly was something less than a pound but I'm still sure that shouldn't happen). I thought only 90% of winnings was meant to go into the bank, with the rest given to you as cash?

2005-05-16 11:36:38 | Lose all your money ?
From the help page ...
"Money banked cannot be used for active trading. In the situation where money has been banked and assets decrease to under £2,500, we allow money to be withdrawn from the bank and added to cash. The cash value is increased up to £5,000, if there are sufficient funds in the bank account."
